The Kiwanis Club of Gladwin

The Gladwin Kiwanis Club was chartered on May 29, 1980. A small group of concerned people in the community saw the need and the opportunity for a club that could look for ways to collectively help improve the lives of its citizens. The Kiwanis Organization was chosen because of the primary emphasis on the needs of children.

Since the inception of the Gladwin club, members have continued to seek ways to help children. Over the years, we have sponsored athletic programs such as Little League, American Youth Soccer, hockey, tennis and educational programs like Reading is Fundamental and The Dictionary & Thesaurus Project.

We hold a number of fund raisers each year which allow us to continue to support those worthwhile projects and needs of the community.
